'Arv' comes from the Swedish and Norwegian word meaning heritage, legacy, or inheritance. We are building a lasting initiative that creates positive impact for future generations, a legacy of opportunity, growth, and community.

ARV is an association that fosters belonging, youth engagement, and personal development for international graduates. ARV builds global bridges from Canada and the US to the UK championing the interational graduates community and beyond. By combining grit, determination, and the practical support needed to thrive in a foreign land, ARV promotes both personal and professional growth with the key mentorship and career coaching services it provides to reduce the gap between an international graduate and their first job.
MISSION
Our mission is to bridge the gap between international graduates and the corporate world by teaching two essential skills that schools rarely cover: "Resume Building" and the "Art of Job Hunting".
ARV is more than a service, it is a community of career storytellers, resume experts, job-search coaches, and mentors who’ve walked the same path. We provide personalized resume reviews, targeted application strategies, curated university-specific resources, and connections to corporate professionals and alumni networks built over years. Beyond resumes, we guide students build a complete professional profile like their LinkedIn, portfolios, websites and interview preparation so they enter the job market confident and prepared!
In short, ARV will be helping international students turn academic experience into a professional story that gets hired.

From navigating student life to landing our first corporate jobs and building new homes in foreign lands, we have experienced every step firsthand. What started as helping friends and students one-on-one with job hunting and career growth has now evolved into a unified platform, a community dedicated to guiding, empowering, and supporting international graduates as they take their first professional steps abroad.
